After two years of construction and preparation work, the Kurdish Red Crescent opens a new medical facility
Due to the conditions that people in the regions of northern and eastern Syria have suffered from, the difficulties of traveling and the high costs of receiving treatment in other regions, the Kurdish Red Crescent Organization opened this evening the Oncology, Burns and Thalassemia Hospital in the city of Qamishlo in the presence of friends, partners and institutions in the Democratic Autonomous Administration, after two years of construction work. It will begin to provide services to patients in the oncology department, which includes tumours and blood diseases, with the cooperation and volunteering of a number of specialized doctors, so that this new medical facility will receive patients from all regions of Syria.
