the Primary Health Care Center in Al-Shadada continues to provide services
The displacements from Lebanon to the Shahba areas highlight new suffering in addition to the previous displacement suffering. Many IDPs have witnessed the same scenario, where they were previously forced to flee the city of Afrin as a result of the Turkish aggression, only to find themselves later in camps in cities such as Aleppo or Lebanon, looking for a safe life for their families away from conflicts and wars. In light of the current situation, the Shahba areas are once again opening their doors to receive people fleeing the ongoing conflict in Lebanon, where the displaced face a painful reality, with some living in camps with former displaced families, while others suffer from the lack of any shelter or support. In this context, the initiatives of the Kurdish Red Crescent are the embodiment of ongoing humanitarian work, where basic supplies such as sponges, blankets and kitchen baskets were distributed to displaced families in Sardam camp, contributing to alleviating their suffering and reflecting the spirit of social solidarity.
In light of the crises affecting the city of Al-Hasakah, the efforts of the Kurdish Red Crescent stand out as a significant example of important humanitarian work. The organization is striving to provide clean drinking water to the residents in collaboration with Medico Switzerland, in response to the current situation. These efforts come at a critical time, as the city is experiencing a severe water shortage, which negatively impacts public health and exacerbates living conditions due to the lack of water from the Alouk station. These ongoing campaigns highlight the importance of community cooperation and coordination among communes and humanitarian organizations to address urgent challenges
