Health education teams in the camps and all regions among them,the team of “Washokani” camp work on various health awareness sessions, intensifying their activity within the awareness program on Coronavirus- covıd 19- through sessions explaining the danger of spreading the infection and how to prevent it in addition to distributing brochures.
After the increased artillery shelling on Abu Raseen town and nearby villages like Muharmla – Om Al-Keef and Rubeyat and displacing of more than 75 families to schools in Hasaka, a medical team consisting of (an ambulance – a pediatrician – an internal doctor and nurses) checked their healthy status and provided necessary medical service to be most cases similar between colds and bronchitis.
KRC protection and psychology support team started a campaign to “remove psychological pressures” for the women of “Washokani” camp In order to alleviate all that and integrate them with the current situation, Where the team presented the first session for the first group through dialogues, suggestions and advice in addition to distributing clothes to them.

The ability to access water and sanitation is basic human rights and considered a necessity of life, health and dignity.
Provide clean water and sanitation timely and sufficiently for IDPs is particularly important.
Right provision of such services is important for right disposal of all wastes, in addition to controlling infectious disease vectors (mosquitoes, mice and flies) is critical to mitigate health risks and prevent epidemics.
The Kurdish Red Crescent is implementing a plan to extend a sewage network in “ Washokani “camp to avoid all these risks and provide the best care for the IDPs
اشارت إحصائيات الصحة العالمية بمناسبة اليوم العالمي لمرضى السكري الى ان نصف المرضى والذي يقدر عددهم بحوالي 422 مليون مريض غير قادرين على الوصول الى الأنسولين بسبب ارتفاع أسعارها .
لذا وبهدف مساعدة أكبر عدد ممكن من المرضى يعمل الهلال الأحمر الكردي بتوفير “الأنسولين ” في جميع مراكز الخدمة الطبية، فقد بلغ العدد الإجمالي للمستفيدين من مادة الأنسولين خلال الأشهر العشرة الماضية 10491 مستفيد في جميع مراكز الهلال الأحمر الكردي في شمال وشرق سوريا.
The global health statistics in the international day of Diabetics in the world showed that the half number of the patients that is 422mıllıon person are not able to get Insulin as of the high cost of the cure.
The Kurdish Red Crescent was able to offer the Insulin ın all the medıcal centers and poınts. Where the total number of beneficiaries who benefited from Insulin have reached 10491 person in all the medical points of the KRC during the last ten months.
