After completing the project to extend and construct sewage lines in Barkhdan camp.
The same project continues in Sardam camp as well, where the old lines were constructed since the beginning of the camp establishment during the displacement of the people of Afrin to it, and these old lines suffered from drainage problems, which had a negative impact on public health in the camp.
Therefore, the project will provide sewage lines in the camp, with 2,700 meters long/ 10 inches instead of 4 inches, and the project will services about 4,000 people in Sardam camp.
Implementation of the same project has previously begun in Aleppo city in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, where some lines have been completed and some are ongoing.
Because providing available health and medical services and care is a priority, even in the most remote areas, the Kurdish Red Crescent Center’s clinics (internal – women’s – children’s – ambulance) in Abu Khashab camp in the northwestern countryside of Deir ez-Zor provide their services in addition to providing medicines from the pharmacy and providing health awareness from Before the health education team, ambulances remain on standby for any emergency.
This morning, the Center of Prosthetics, Physical Therapy, and Psychological Support of the Kurdish Red Crescent received assistance including a set of mobility aids sent by the Austrian organization “Karawane der Menschlichkeit ” as a support to the center. We thank our friends for their support and contribution, but the center needs continuous support to be able to receive people in the regions of northern and eastern Syria.
