This setup ensures broader access to safe water for the largest possible number of residents.<\/p>\n<p>The project also included specialized training sessions for commune members and the Water Department staff on:<\/p>\n<p>* Protecting solar power systems and maintaining wells.<\/p>\n<p>* Operating the wells seasonally.<\/p>\n<p>* Water chlorination techniques using chlorine tablets.<\/p>\n<p>This project comes as a direct response to the growing need for safe and reliable water sources for the city\u2019s population.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In response to the needs of local residents, and in coordination with the Directorate of Water and the Municipality of Qamishlo, the Kurdish Red Crescent, with the support of \u00c0rea Metropolitana de Barcelona (AMB), implemented the \u201cEmergency Water Response\u201d project.
