Given the severe tensions in the region, the sensitivity of the southern Syria file, and our concern for the safety of our local partners, cooperating organizations, and beneficiaries, we have committed during this period to working with the least possible visibility in order to protect everyone\u2019s security.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Despite the gravity of the challenges, and thanks to joint efforts\u2014foremost among them the efforts of local communities\u2014we were able during this period to deliver emergency assistance as quickly as possible, which included:<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u2022 Supporting displaced families with food aid: 40,000 meals.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u2022 Providing fuel to agricultural associations and farmers to continue their work, contributing to the strengthening of the local market in As-Suwayda city.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u2022 Supplying fuel for several ambulances to ensure the transport of wounded civilians.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u2022 Providing financial assistance to 280 displaced families from conflict areas.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u2022 Helping secure communication and protection for a number of families with their children in various areas inside Syria, and offering them financial support until their return to their families in As-Suwayda Governorate.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">In conclusion, we extend our deepest thanks to all partner humanitarian organizations and local partners who worked with dedication under the most difficult circumstances, and we reaffirm that our commitment to supporting our people in As-Suwayda, and across Syria, will continue without interruption.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since the beginning of the tragic events in As-Suwayda and southern Syria, we in the Kurdish Red Crescent have exerted our utmost efforts to reach those affected by the violence against civilians, especially in As-Suwayda Governorate.
