in the midst of a massive wave of displacement that started in early December 2024, tens of thousands of people from Afrin and Shahba left their homes in search of safety and stability in northern and eastern Syria. During these difficult humanitarian conditions, the work of the Kurdish Red Crescent has emerged as a key actor in providing support and assistance, receiving distinguished backing from the Kurdistan Red Crescent.<\/div>\n
The Kurdish Red Crescent has been delivering urgent medical and relief services across all areas where displaced people are located, recently addressing the needs of 400 displaced families in the city of Kobani. Baby formula and diapers were distributed, along with essential clothing for both adults and children, which helped lighten some of the burden on them<\/div>\n
