The Kurdish Red Crescent launches a vital project to support health and water in the village of “Tal Aboud” in Darbasiyah

The Kurdish Red Crescent, with support from AWO International and in partnership with Volkshilfe, continues its efforts to improve living and health conditions in the village of Tel Aboud, near Derbasiya, with the aim of strengthening social cohesion and livelihoods through:

• Ensuring clean water: Installing a solar-powered water system for the wells to guarantee their sustainable operation and increase production.

• Regular medical care: Establishing a mobile general clinic in the village to provide medical services and treat illnesses caused by contaminated or unavailable water.

• These services target all residents of the village, estimated at 80 families, including approximately 17 displaced families.
