The Kurdish Red Crescent continues its support for emergency efforts during the agricultural crop fire.
At 3:25 PM today, the Kurdish Red Crescent ambulance teams responded immediately to assist firefighters in dealing with a fire that broke out in agricultural fields in the village of Umm al-Rabi’.
During the intervention, our teams treated six cases on-site, including providing first aid for respiratory distress (asthma attacks) due to smoke inhalation, as well as bandaging wounds and providing medical care to the injured.
We urge our dear residents to stay away from fire sites and avoid gathering in groups. Do not attempt to extinguish large fires yourself, and contact the fire and ambulance services immediately in case of any emergency
