Recreational activities and psychological support for displaced people in Qamishli to promote recovery and bring smiles
As part of the efforts of the psychological support team at the Kurdish Red Crescent, recreational activities were conducted for displaced and resident children at the Paulos Yaqoub School in Qamishli. These activities aimed to alleviate stress and bring smiles to their faces through play and group interaction, rekindling a sense of childhood.
In parallel, psychological support sessions were provided for adults to create a safe space for expression and participation, and to support them in overcoming the effects of difficult circumstances.
We believe that psychological support is not a luxury, but an essential part of recovery.
