With support from the Hope of the Poor organization, the Kurdish Red Crescent provided financial assistance to displaced people in Qamishli suffering from chronic illnesses, aiming to alleviate their burdens and secure some of their health and living needs.

The Kurdish Red Crescent evacuates displaced families from Afrin after the floods and provides them with shelter and aid.

In an urgent humanitarian response, the Kurdish Red Crescent teams evacuated four displaced families from Afrin who were living in a flooded basement.

The families were transferred to a shelter where they received mattresses, blankets, mattresses, and food baskets to meet their basic needs and help them cope with these harsh conditions.

We continue our humanitarian work on the ground, standing with our people and providing support to those most in need.

A recreational activity for children at the orphanage in the city of Kobani

In a heartwarming humanitarian gesture… The Kurdish Red Crescent team organized a recreational event for children at the Keskesê Sor a Alan Orphanage in Kobani. The children enjoyed a variety of fun activities, and the event concluded with the distribution of gifts.

This initiative is part of the Kurdish Red Crescent’s efforts to provide psychological support to children and bring joy to their lives.

The initiative to distribute free bread in Kobani continues, spearheaded by the Kurdish Red Crescent teams with support from the Kurdistan Red Crescent. One thousand loaves of bread are being distributed daily to displaced families in shelters.

This initiative follows a previous seven-day humanitarian campaign in the cities of Hasakah, Qamishli, Amuda, and Tirbespiyê, aimed at supporting residents and alleviating the financial burdens on needy families.

The Protection and Psychological Support Office of the Kurdish Red Crescent continues its activities in the schools of Liwa and Saqr Quraish, providing psychological support sessions for children that include drawing, play, concentration exercises, and stress relief activities.

Toys and heaters were also distributed to the schools with support from Humanity & Inclusion (HI), as part of efforts to create a safer and warmer environment for our children.

The Kurdish Red Crescent continues to support displaced families by distributing supplies for infants.

Today, supplies for infants, including milk and diapers, were distributed to displaced families in the western region by the Kurdish Red Crescent with generous support from the Union of Kurdish Doctors in Germany.

Humanitarian aid distribution campaigns continue in support of our displaced people. As part of these efforts, the Kurdish Red Crescent team distributed food baskets to families displaced from Ras al-Ayn and Afrin in the neighborhoods of Mushayrifah, al-Dahiyah, al-Mufti, and al-Salihiyah in al-Hasakah.

Through these initiatives, we are committed to standing by our people and alleviating their hardships, and we will continue our humanitarian work with full dedication and responsibility.

The Kurdish Red Crescent received a humanitarian initiative that involved distributing gifts to displaced children. Our teams organized and distributed the gifts to children in shelters, bringing smiles to their faces and alleviating the effects of displacement.
