The Kurdish Red Crescent provides clean water to shelters for displaced people in Hasakah

With the support of MIS organization, and through field coordination with the local communes, the Kurdish Red Crescent team has provided displaced persons’ shelters in Al-Hasakah with safe, clean water suitable for both drinking and daily use.

Recognizing that awareness is the first line of defense for public health, this initiative was accompanied by an intensive awareness campaign that included:

Community Empowerment: Practical training sessions on how to identify sterilized and safe drinking water.

Resource Preservation: Interactive sessions on water conservation methods and preventing waste.

Prevention: Detailed explanations regarding the direct link between water quality and disease prevention through a “Personal Hygiene” lecture.
