As part of the Civil Defense project: Intensive training for the Kurdish Red Crescent to deal with disasters
In preparation for disaster response, such as earthquakes and floods, the Kurdish Red Crescent continues its Advanced Life Support (ALS) training program as part of its Civil Defense project. The training targets paramedics at the Qamishli, Derik, and Hasakah centers and their affiliated Red Crescent outposts.held at each center, includes intensive practical and clinical exercises and realistic scenarios based on international intervention protocols. It covers first aid, advanced first aid, evacuation and rescue, triage and classification, resuscitation, field coordination, and managing bleeding and critical injuries, all aimed at enhancing preparedness and saving lives.
The training program will continue until it encompasses all Kurdish Red Crescent outposts.
