The Protection and Psychological Support Office of the Kurdish Red Crescent continues its activities in the schools of Liwa and Saqr Quraish, providing psychological support sessions for children that include drawing, play, concentration exercises, and stress relief activities.
Toys and heaters were also distributed to the schools with support from Humanity & Inclusion (HI), as part of efforts to create a safer and warmer environment for our children.

Today, supplies for infants, including milk and diapers, were distributed to displaced families in the western region by the Kurdish Red Crescent with generous support from the Union of Kurdish Doctors in Germany.
The distribution is ongoing to reach as many families in need as possible.

Humanitarian aid distribution campaigns continue in support of our displaced people. As part of these efforts, the Kurdish Red Crescent team distributed food baskets to families displaced from Ras al-Ayn and Afrin in the neighborhoods of Mushayrifah, al-Dahiyah, al-Mufti, and al-Salihiyah in al-Hasakah.
Through these initiatives, we are committed to standing by our people and alleviating their hardships, and we will continue our humanitarian work with full dedication and responsibility.

Gifts and psychological support: An initiative by the Kurdish Red Crescent to support displaced children

The Kurdish Red Crescent received a humanitarian initiative that involved distributing gifts to displaced children. Our teams organized and distributed the gifts to children in shelters, bringing smiles to their faces and alleviating the effects of displacement.
The initiative was accompanied by psychosocial support sessions led by our specialized staff, aimed at supporting the children and enhancing their sense of security and stability.

The German organization Kazim E.V. provided significant medical support to the Kurdish Red Crescent’s cancer hospital, supplying it with chemotherapy drugs specifically for cancer patients.
This support comes at a time when the need for specialized medications is increasing, helping to alleviate the burden on patients and their families and ensuring the continuation of treatment within available resources.

Despite the escalating challenges resulting from the siege, the Kurdish Red Crescent continues its humanitarian work, having activated its mobile clinic in Kobani to provide emergency medical services and primary care to the residents.

As part of the humanitarian response and support for displaced families, and in coordination with the Kurdish Red Crescent, “Zahrat Al Sham Detergents Company” implemented a humanitarian initiative that involved distributing 152 food rations to shelters for displaced people in the city of Qamishli.
