Advanced training in disaster management and rapid response enhancement in Qamishli with support from Medico International
For three consecutive days this month in Qamishli, the Kurdish Red Crescent Civil Defense team, with support from Medico International, provided advanced training to relevant municipal officials, focusing on disaster management and rapid response mechanisms.

The Kurdish Red Crescent teams continue their humanitarian efforts to support our displaced people. Food baskets were distributed to 526 beneficiaries in shelters in the city of Qamishli, thanks to the generous support of the people of Bashur Kurdistan in the areas of Haji Awa, Penjwen, and Ranya.

As part of our ongoing efforts to reach our people in rural areas, the Kurdish Red Crescent has launched a mobile clinic campaign in the rural areas of Derik, Qamishli, Amuda, and Karaki Laki.
The clinics provide a range of medical services, including examinations, medication for common and chronic illnesses, and the distribution of infant formula and diapers. They also distribute health awareness brochures on hygiene and public health.
Our campaign continues to reach as many people in need as possible, because health is a right for everyone.

With generous support from the Kirkuk Charity Foundation, the Kurdish Red Crescent continues its humanitarian efforts by distributing food baskets to displaced families in shelters in the city of Hasakah.
This initiative follows previous distributions in the cities of Qamishli, Amuda, and Tirbespiyê, as part of an ongoing plan to reach all families in need.

The Kurdish Red Crescent and the Al-Amal Organization provide financial support and food baskets to cancer patients displaced from Ras al-Ayn in Hasakah.
On April 13, 2026, as part of our ongoing humanitarian efforts, the Kurdish Red Crescent, in partnership with the Al-Amal Organization, provided $100 in financial support and a food basket to cancer patients displaced from Ras al-Ayn (Sere Kaniye) in the city of Hasakah.
Assistance is being provided to the remaining cases, bringing the total number of patients to 29.
