Washokani camp update
The medical point of the Kurdish Red Crescent in “Washokani” camp receives about 3500 patients monthly. The most section that received the patients is the ambulance and emergency: they are more or less 1500 patients and the women’s clinic stands for the second level, which receives from 800 to 1,000 patients. And at the beginning of summer, the number of patients has reached to 7000 patients.
Abu Qalqal Primary Health Care Center
The primary health care centre in Abu Qalqal considered as the main destination for the people in town and its countryside, reach 140 Southend people in all the area.
The centre receives more or less 150 patients each day and 1500 patients in a month: within the departments of Emergency, paediatric -and women Interior clinics.

The medical point of KRC in “Mahmoudli” camp
One of our work priorities is provide primary health care services in displaced people’s camps in north and east of Syria, as “Mahmoudli” camp in Al- Tabqa region, which includes more than 1816 displaced families from (Idlib , Aleppo and Palmyra).
About a year ago, our medical point provides medical services for 45 to 50 patients daily and 1400 monthly through internal – women – children clinics in addition to a section for emergency cases with two ambulances, one of them is for suspected cases of coronavirus (covid19).
Modernization of “Til Hajar” Primary Health Care Center
After a month of continuous work, the Kurdish Red Crescent/Al-Hasakah branch renovated “Til Hajar” Primary Health Care Center and opened it again , to work with the previous departments (Interior – Women – Children and Pharmacy)and a new departments (laboratory analysis – X-ray room) in addition to a two sections: The ambulance department with two ambulances and an alternate doctor working 7/24, and a special section for sorting patients, “Triage”, to sort suspected cases of coronavirus, as is the case in all the points. Providing medical services for Abu Raseen displaced and nearby villages
After the increased artillery shelling on Abu Raseen town and nearby villages like Muharmla – Om Al-Keef and Rubeyat and displacing of more than 75 families to schools in Hasaka, a medical team consisting of (an ambulance – a pediatrician – an internal doctor and nurses) checked their healthy status and provided necessary medical service to be most cases similar between colds and bronchitis.

National campaign against polio
The Kurdish Red Crescent team in the Euphrates region in cooperation with the World Health Organization started an awareness campaign against polio through distributing brochures to parents, clinics, pharmacies and hospitals in Kobani city and its countryside.
The campaign will continue 4 days and then follow the national vaccination campaign, which includes children from the age of “one day to 5 years” for 5 days.
